A.O. “Pădurea Noastră” is an environmental and cultural organization operating in Moldova. We combine environmental protection activities, cultural initiatives, and educational projects for local communities.
A distinctive feature of our work is the active use of eco-blogging and our own media channels to raise awareness, shape public opinion, and engage new people in environmental initiatives.
More than 100 volunteers participate in large-scale activities such as forest clean-ups, tree planting campaigns, nature conservation projects, as well as festivals of folk traditions and cultural heritage, where environmental topics are integrated into cultural programs.
We also support eco-settlements in Moldova and encourage people to move from cities to rural areas. Our team consists of 9 active members and more than 100 volunteers.
Our value proposition lies in being a rapidly growing organization with a horizontal management system and a high level of public trust. We achieve most of our strategic objectives by mobilizing a network of volunteers who implement grassroots initiatives within local communities. We maintain a strong media presence and cooperate with local authorities. By combining culture and ecology in a single initiative, we give meaningful depth to environmental actions rooted in love for nature and society.
Through our activities, we strive not only to protect forests and natural areas but also to revive cultural traditions connected to land, nature, and craftsmanship. Through environmental actions, artistic projects, and educational programs, we help people rediscover the cultural and natural value of their environment.

Our long-term goal is to develop a network of environmental and cultural initiatives that help people reconnect with nature, traditional knowledge, and sustainable ways of living.
By combining environmental activism, artistic creativity, and community participation, we create spaces where ecology and culture can grow and evolve together.
The A.O. “Pădurea Noastră” organization was founded in April 2024 by eco-activists from the informal ecological movement Tabor of Mother Earth, which spontaneously emerged in Chișinău in November 2022 as a response to the pollution of the city’s parks with plastic waste. A.O. “Pădurea Noastră” engages in ecological initiatives such as waste cleanup and tree planting while also supporting the sustainable development of rural communities and eco-settlements in Moldova.
2022-2023 The Tabor of Mother Earth ecological movement was an informal association of eco-activists and was funded by donations from citizens of Moldova and Ukraine through the crowdfunding platform Pomestya.club: pomestya.club/proekty/33-tabor-materi-zemli
2024 After a year and a half of active environmental protection efforts, the most dedicated members of the Tabor of Mother Earth movement emerged as leaders and became the founders of the public organization A.O. “Pădurea Noastră.”
With the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Estonia, we organized six eco-actions to clean up waste in nature reserves across Moldova.
In 2025, with the support of People in Need Moldova, we developed a three-year strategic plan for our organization, created five internal policies (Procurement Policy, Environmental Policy, Personnel Policy, Anti-Corruption Policy, and Gender Policy), completed trainings in advocacy and eco-blogging, launched our official website, and carried out six environmental actions and three community improvement events in the village of Dolna, aimed at learning how to create partnership projects with other organizations.
